You
can record or playback an image via network camera or DVR. You can also use
same function locally or remotely. For controlling from remote site, the
specific S/W is required.
S/W
is made with protocol, but it is difficult and time consuming.
SDK¹
is for making S/W easily without requiring information about the protocol. SDK is
made with same language that was used for developing S/W. It is a useful tool.
Current
SDKs had some problems since different SDKs were used for different products from
the same company. Also the support functions were only for several
representative functions. Therefore it would require seperate S/W support per
product and integrating them.
In
order to overcome this, WEBGATE Inc. integrated protocols for our network
cameras and DVRs into WESP.
The
WESP SDK supports same tools in both network DVR and network camera.
